MVP Sports was a VC-backed mobile game studio that focused on acquiring licenses from top celebrity athletes and creating F2P mobile games that focused on their sport, personality and interests. The company was able to acquire the mobile game rights to LeBron James and that was the initial SKU that was worked on for approximately 1.5 years. The game never made it to market using LeBron’s name and likeness but several test versions of the game were published in secondary markets to analyze player analytics. Basketball Royale / Basketball Rivals was published to both IOS and Android.
